Poultry Farm Manager

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Syed Azmat and i am a veterinarian by profession, having done my DVM in 1999 from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. I got my professional degree after twelve years of preliminary education in science subjects with English as medium of learning. Since then i am working in poultry breeder farming, first as Farm Manager and now as Production Manager. My main duties as Production Manager are,

1- Managing six parent stock farms of broiler in different phases of growth.

2- Preparation and implementation of vaccination program, lighting program and feeding methods and schedules settings.

3- Cleaning and disinfection program preparation, its implementation and taking swab sample for effective monitoring of disinfection by checking viable count.

4- Preparation of farm for brooding and receiving of chicks, taking body weight on weekly basis for feed allocation so as to achieve the required growth.

5- Preparation of graphical representation of rearing growth, production percentage, and feed consumption, egg weight and mortality percentage on weekly basis.

6- Monitoring health status of flocks by post mortem, culling, mortality trend pattern and also checking serum titers for vaccine done after every 15 days.

7- Checking of farm and flock record of daily, weekly body weight, rearing, production reports as well as monthly reports.

8- Recommendation of farm demands, medicines, vaccines, equipments, etc.

9-Supervision of farms and area office accounts, salaries adjustments and recommendations.

10-Preparation of flock cost summaries, farm stock records sale and agreements settlings etc.

11- Care and management of hatchings eggs, its delivery to hatchery and coordination with hatchery manager for successful broiler chick hatches.

12-I manage currently six farms of broiler parent stock with help of a resident farm manager at each farm, farm supervisors and other working staff of over 200.

13- I am responsible for management of all aspects of farm, from flock management to supervision, hiring working staff, doing all necessary agreement related works and report directly to Managing Director of the company.

I am in 9^th year of experience in poultry breeder farming. My other skills include MsOffice, Windows, internet etc and I am a light vehicle license holder.

I am very much interested to enhance my career level in poultry industry.
